Dance with France - Ages 4 and up, you choose the style of dance. $195 for an hour of instruction and an hour in a party room.
Decidedly Jazz Danceworks - 1 hour dance class + 1 hour in the lounge. Cost starts at $175.
Deerfoot Inn - Pool parties are $19.95 per child. Includes 1 hour swim and lunch at the Mohave Grill.
Devonian Gardens - Parties for ages 5 and up include hands-on nature experiences and crafts.
Divas and Dudes - Kids' hair salon. Parties start at $250 and include dress-up and crafts.
Enchanted Events - Themed party rooms and entertainment.
Epic Fencing - Parties for age 8 and up cover footwork and bladework.
Firefighters Museum of Calgary - The Museum is open seasonally from May to October. Although birthday party packages are not available, programs about firefighters are offered in the summer. Limited space is available, but this may work for a small party.
Fire Station Tours - Ages 4 and up. Book a tour of your local station to meet firefighters and learn about the equipment they use. Kids receive a free fire safety activity book at the end of every tour. Tours should be booked 6 weeks in advance, and can take up to 3 weeks to confirm. Flames Community Arenas - You can rent ice time at the arenas, starting at $91 per hour for non-prime-time.
Flip Factory - Gymnastics birthdays in the main gym, toddler parties, and sleepover parties!
Flying Squirrel - Trampoline parties start at $335 for 2 hours of jumping, pizza and water.
Fort Calgary - Grades 1 - 4. Choose from 3 programs, including "Mighty Women" and "Join the Ranks of the North West Mounted Police." A room is supplied for cake and juice (the only refreshments allowed). $150 for up to 12 kids.
Funky Petals - This florist offers flower-arranging parties at select locations. The website suggests that you call your nearest location for details.
Gem Veranda - Beading parties. Packages start at $18 per child for a bracelet, with a minimum of 8 kids. Loot bags included.
Green Door Stay and Play - Ages 6 - 14. Parties are held in the Community Room at Southcentre Mall. Include a scavenger hunt, Wii, TV and DVD player. Cost is $13 per child.
Gymtastics - An hour of games and gymnastics with a certified instructor, plus an hour in the kitchen area upstairs for cake. Check out this review of parties at Gymtastics!
Heritage Park - The park does not offer any birthday party packages, but the Historical Village (open May - October) is a great place for an unstructured party. You can always bring a blanket and have a picnic with your cake!
Highwood Outdoor Pool - You can rent the entire pool for just $80 / hour (for less than 50 people)! You get lifeguards, pool toys, and use of the BBQ.
Horsin' Around - Horse-riding parties cost $250 - $350, depending on the age of your children. Younger children ride in an arena, and older kids go for a trail ride. Use of a hall, fire pit and BBQ is included.
Infinite Creations Dance Studio - A 45-minute dance party followed by a craft and an hour in the studio for cake and gifts. $180 for 10 kids.
Inglewood Bird Sanctuary - For ages 5 and up. "Bird Day Parties" include dress-up, a craft, and a guided nature walk. $200, maximum of 20 kids.
Inglewood Aquatic Centre - Pool parties with toys, a poolside climbing wall, and a party room.
Jelly Modern Doughnuts - Doughnut decorating, craft, and a doughnut cake.
Jewish Community Centre - Several party packages available, including zumba, science, in-line skating, bounce houses, climbing wall, and swimming. Price starts at $185 for a room and snacks for 15 guests (activities are extra).
Kayben Farms Sunshine Adventure Park - Parties start at $14 per person, and include 2 hours in a birthday barn or shelter. Guests are welcome to stay in the park after their 2 hours in the shelter are over. Food, wagon rides and loot bags are available at an additional cost.
Kids & Company - The daycare provider now offers birthday parties on weekends, with everything provided, from activities to cake and loot bags. You can read my review of parties at Kids & Company here.
Kitchen Kids - Parties inspired by competitive cooking TV shows. $250 for 8 kids.

Landmark Cinemas - $17 per child for reserved seating at a movie, snacks, an employee to assist you, and a party room for one hour.

The Little Gym of Airdrie - This venue is in Airdrie, a quick drive from North Calgary. Parties involve instructor-led games, plus music, Lego, gymnastics, and more.
Little Hippies Yoga - 45 min yoga class for up to 12 kids, customized to your theme. Decorations and crafts included. Yoga instructors can also come to your house to teach a class!
Lloyd's Roller Rink - Parties are $15.75 per skater, with a minimum of 8 skaters.
Make My Day Flowers - Parties at this DIY floral boutique are $75 to rent the private studio for 90 minutes, plus $30 per child for a floral arrangement. Parties available Sundays from 9 am - 7pm.
Michael's - Kids create a special craft at the store. Themes include the Messy Party; Dr. Seuss; and the Crayola Tub of Fun.
The Military Museums - Ages 6 - 12, $140 for 8 children. A meal plan through Boston Pizza is available. The 2-hour program includes a tour, an opportunity to try on uniforms, a marching drill, and a craft.
Millican Ogden Outdoor Pool - Pool rental is $200 for 2 hours, for up to 50 people. Includes lifeguards, cash concession, and access to BBQs.
Monster Mini Golf - Private party room for 90 minutes, followed by 18 holes of golf. You get to golf for as long as you like. Packages start at $275 for 12 kids.
Mountain View Bowl - Parties are $13.75 / person, and include 1 hour of bowling, 50 minutes in a party room, and a trophy for the birthday kid.
Mount Pleasant Outdoor Pool - Private pool rental is $90 per hour for up to 50 people. Includes use of BBQ and pool toys.
Mount Royal University Recreation - Climbing wall parties are for kids 5 and up, and start at $17 / participant for one hour.

Passion for Glass - Create fused glass art. For ages 6 and up. Parties start at $200 for 2 hours in the studio.
Patterson Springs Farm - Parties are $150 for 2 hours in a yurt (max 20 people, including adults). Package includes a tour of the farm and an opportunity to feed chickens, rabbits and goats.
Pegasus Gym - Gymnastics parties. $250 for up to 8 kids, $300 for up to 16 kids.
Petland - Parties available in-store or at your home, starting at $150.
The Place for Parties - Located in Northland Mall, they offer party rooms, mini golf and gem mining. Packages start at $225.
President's Choice Cooking School - Yes, you can have a party at a Superstore, and it will be awesome. Choose from themes including Pizza Party, Hockey Party, and Tapas for Teens.
Ralph Klein Park - For ages 5 and up. Parties include a nature program ("Mysteries of the Marsh" or "Weird and Wonderful Wetlands") and craft. Maximum of 20 kids for $200.
SAIT - Parties start at $210, and can involve bowling or swimming.

Sheraton Cavalier Calgary - Parties start at $18 per person for a birthday at Calgary's largest hotel waterpark. Includes 2 waterslides, a kiddie pool, main pool, hot tub, whirlpool and sauna.
Skyline Luge - The track runs alongside the Winsport Olympic Luge Track. The track is open in the summertime only. There are no party packages, but family packages are available.
Soccer Genius - Indoor fields are open year-round. Parties start at $259 for two hours of field time and an hour in the party area. Invitations and a bottle of water for each child are included.
Soul Connexion - Dance, yoga or fitness party. $200 for an hour of lessons and an hour for cake and presents. For children of all ages.
Southcentre Mall - Ages 6 - 14. Parties are held in the Community Room on the lower level, hosted by Green Door Stay & Play. Include a scavenger hunt, Wii, TV and DVD player. Cost is $13 per child.
Southland Leisure Centre - Party options include the arcade, imagination station, a magician, a bouncer party, swim parties, sports parties, and Kinder Room parties (with climber, tunnels, and suspension bridge). You can also have an ice skating party at the rink!
SpacePort - Parties include Dairy Queen food and cake, private party room, and unlimited play.
Speeders - An indoor go-kart track. Drivers must be at least 12 years old. Party packages start at $555.
Stampede City Gymnastics - Parties start at $150, and include an hour in the gym with an instructor and 45 minutes in a party room.
Storybook Theatre - Take the kids to a show! For $200, you get admission for 10 children and 2 adults, and a room booking before and after the show. Private meet-and-greets with the actors may also be available!
Summit School of Dance - Ages 3 and up. Parties start at $225 for an hour of instruction and 30 mins for cake and presents. Choose your style of dance: princess fairy, ballet, hip hop, or break dance.

Vecova - Parties start at $120, and include themes such as dance, swimming, sports, and magic.

Village Square Leisure Centre - Parties include: jungle gym, sports, swimming, a jungle bouncer, or an obstacle course. You can also rent the rink for an ice skating party.

Westside Recreation Centre - Offers 13 different themes to choose from, involving combinations of skating, swimming, wall-climbing, time in the gym, and gaming. Packages start at $100.
Willow and Whimsy - Flower-arranging parties (!) start at $195 for up to 8 kids.
WinSport (formerly Canada Olympic Park) - activities include mini golf, EuroBungy, climbing wall, spider web, downhill mountain biking, Skyline Luge, high ropes challenge course, zipline or even bobsleigh!
Yogurty's - Parties start at $12.99 per person. Kids pour their own yogurt and choose their own toppings.
Young Rembrandts - You pick the theme, and the kids get a fun-filled drawing lesson. $150 for a 60 minute party with up to 10 guests.
YMCA - Parties in the pool, gym, or at the climbing wall are available at every location except South Health Campus (the hospital).

Coffee and Scream - $150 for 2 hours to rent the entire play area.
Gymboree - For kids 0 - 5 years old ONLY (ie, older kids can't play). Include 1 hour of play with a Gymboree teacher and 30 minutes for cake. $235.
Joso's Play & Learn Centre - Parties are for kids 1 - 6 years old, and start at $125.
Play a Latte - Parties can include private use of the whole facility, or a reserved table or party room.
